Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Manaus Arrival - Lodge Bound Jungle Rush
Plane touches down Manaus, private van grabs you for 2 hour ride north then quick speedboat hop across Rio Negro, boom at Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge mid afternoon. Settle into your chalet with hammock deck, fresh juices waiting. Evening piranha fishing from the dock, hooks baited with beef, then night boat safari eyes peeled for glowing caiman eyes. Dinner back at lodge, grilled local fish and stories round the fire pit.
Day 2: Pink Dolphin Chase & River Secrets
Dawn paddle in canoes silent through flooded forest, there they are, rosy pink dolphins flipping beside you, so close you could touch! Breakfast buffet with açaí bowls, then hike easy trails spotting sloths and orchids. Lunch poolside, afternoon free to lounge or kayak solo. Guides point out medicinal plants used for centuries.
Day 3: Soar the Canopy Tower
Climb that 50 meter tower step by swaying bridge, emerge above the treetops for insane 360 jungle views, toucans swooping level with your face! Morning bird call symphony, spotting 100 species easy. Down for picnic amid vines, then back lodge for siesta. Evening lecture on Amazon myths from local expert, caipirinhas served.
Day 4: Head to Indigenous Village - Cultural Deep Dive
Boat 45 min upriver to riverside community, welcomed by Tukano folks in traditional garb. Help weave baskets or tap rubber trees, learn blowpipe hunting demos. Lunch their style, manioc cakes and wild game stew. Overnight in maloca hut on raised floor, mosquito nets plush, stars blazing overhead no light pollution.
Day 5: Village Dawn & Back to Lodge Thrills
Rise with roosters, join morning ritual coffee from their roast, then boat back lodge by noon. Afternoon full sail down Rio Negro regional boat style, stop swimming holes, maybe giant otters fishing. Dinner feast, swap pics from the tower views.
Day 6: Jaú National Park Edge Expedition
Speedboat deeper 1.5 hours to Jaú fringes, kayak narrow igapós flooded channels, vines draping water like curtains. Spot howler monkeys roar echoing, anaconda trails if lucky. Picnic riverside, back by dusk for lodge spa unwind or floating bar beers. One of the wildest days!
Day 7: Wrap Up Amazon Magic
Morning choice: more dolphin spotting or extra hike, whatever calls. Farewell group lunch overlooking archipelago, then relax pool or tower sunset climb. Evening bonfire songs from guides, reflect on the pink flashes and village laughs. Pack light for tomorrow.
Day 8: Off to Manaus Airport
Early transfer reverse boat then van to catch flights, or add seaplane thrill back (extra zippy 35 min). Memories packed tighter than your bag!
